Finality

It’s all over.

I’m far too exhausted to get into a long post about the hell I’ve been through the past several weeks. Instead, I’ll just throw a bunch of pictures up here and put captions under them to explain the past two weeks. I’m going to make them all thumbnails so there’s less loading time for those of you on dial-up. That means you have to click on the thumbnail to get the entire picture. Duh. Enjoy!

Kitty under a sheet

First off, I missed my cat the whole time I was away in LGT. She may be a ninja assassin who’s always trying to kill me, but between her and the husband, they keep me sane.

Sarah's Wedding Dress

Ever wonder how many bride’s maids fit under Sarah’s wedding dress? Two. Katie and Jessica had to climb under her dress to get the lacing in the back to close all the way shut. That way no one would see her underwear but Steve later.

A sandwich Simon ate

This is what happens when Simon gets ahold of a camera. Randomness. He’s such a Ringwald.

They tied the knot!

And here Sarah and Steve finally got married. They’ve only been together for forever, after all. And no, you will not see a picture of me in the bride’s maid dress on my site ever. It’s a pretty color and all that, but it was a pain in the ass to wear. I’m going to turn it into a skirt (the bottom part’s really pretty, but the top won’t stay up) and dice bags. It is such a pretty color!

Katie and Greg dancing

Speaking of the dress, here it is on Katie. Don’t they look cute?

Opening wedding presents

Here’s Sarah and Steve at the Burch’s house opening presents. I had to get a shot of them opening Chuck and Jane’s present because it was such a Ringwald thing to get them. I mean, pickles, a mop, and a salt/pepper shaker. Random. Have I mentioned how random Ringwalds are yet?

The cat again

Speaking of random, here’s my cat again. She’s so adorable! I went through about a hundred pictures on Ian’s computer earlier and about half are of the cat. Go figure.

A crappy cake I made for my friends

So the next wedding I’m going to be in will be Jamie and Mike’s. I made them this cake when they announced their engagement. By the way, I suck at cake decorating. Sarah and Steve, aren’t you glad I didn’t make you one of these monsters when you announced your engagement?

One of the binders I used for Jerry

The most important thing about the past two weeks was getting my @#$%^&?! thesis finished. Remember Jerry? Here’s one of the binders I used when writing the little bugger.

DONE AT LAST!

And here’s Jerry all finished and ready to go. I dropped his ass off at the Grad School this morning. Between paying for him and stuff for the wedding, we’re completely flat broke again, but at least we won’t have any more major expenses for a while, I hope. All I care about is that HE’S DONE AT LAST.

Damn, we have a lot of miniatures!

So on the agenda for tonight is some good old fashioned DnD killing. If I had more alcohol here, I’d get wasted, but I drank the last of the vodka last night. That’s all right, I have some spumonti (sp?) and beer. I’ll be all right. This pic, by the way, is of all the many minis we have for DnD. We don’t use all of them, but this is before Ian and I sorted all of them out.

Rawr! Monster cat!

I just had to get another picture of Kitty in here. Roar! Monster cat terrorizes town! News at eleven. It’s back to doing laundry for me. Then taking out the trash. Then cleaning the living room. Then doing dishes…

Hehe, yeah, you're short but Greg's tall:

I'll e-mail you the other pictures later. Right now I'm still reeling from taking out the trash (There was so much of it!), changing the litter box, and I'm still doing laundry. I've got to run around picking up dishes next and then try again to get that splinter out of my toe. Oh, I should check the mail too. Damned busy day!

    Wow:

Yeah we have too many minis. But I think that tonight we might be able to use some of the town props.

    Great Pictures:

Those are great pictures of everything. I love the way you have buildings for your campaigns. When I played, our DM never went to that extreme, he was kind of boring and only drew out maps, and they were sloppy at best.

Oh, I also like how Katie has her sunglasses next to her in case the mooning under Sarah's dress gets too bright. LOL
