Jerry update

Well, now that Ian and I have a little money, it’s all going to be spent on Jerry. Gotta pay for the paper, professional printing, the binding fees, and any other additional fee the school can come up with. This should have been done a while ago, but since we were living on a shoestring, there was no way we could afford getting all of this done before now. So I’m going to spend the rest of the morning (and probably a sizable chunk of the afternoon) re-proofreading Jerry all over again to try and find additional mistakes and maybe clear a few other things up. Now that I’ve been away from him for a while, it should be a little easier. It’s like Ian said this morning when we were talking about DnD character sheets: you get so familiar with your own work that you see it through rose-tinted classes, and it means you miss mistakes a four-year-old would catch.

So I’m going to give Jerry another once-over, check my e-mail to see if my committee’s still yelling at me to get this done, then hop over to the grad school’s website to write down the specifications for the paper I have to buy. If today goes well, I may even get the little shit printed off. The biggest snag left after getting it printed is getting Tony’s signature on it. My three committee members have got to sign a page that goes in the first three or four pages, and Tony lives in Indy. Either I have to drive my ass out there or he’s gotta come here. Me driving out there means fixing the van up (refilling tires, figuring out what’s wrong with the spark plug, filling it up with gas, which will cost a fortune) and coordinating some time to meet with him in Indy, a town (Town? Ha! It’s more like a city, really.) that I’m not that familiar with. Dippy. I dunno, I’ll call him and see what he wants to do. I can’t coax him to The Haute with line dancing though, that’s for sure. Bleach, line dancing.

At any rate, so there’s my Sunday. Simon’s not up to watch Kevin Smith flicks with or play Runescape, so I’m just gonna have to spend the day working on Jerry while Ian sleeps until it’s too late to hit the stores. Hoo-ray.

    I can't wait:

I wonder how many "liberties" and "mistakes" a certain person has made.
