I think it would be more bizarre this week if Simon weren’t up. As it is, it just feels like a really long weekend with insane amounts of DnD, corn dogs, and Mountain Dew. Next week will probably feel much odder. So far since my last day on Friday, we’ve had a cook-out at the Lushbaugh’s, played some random DnD with Simey and worked on his character, and watched a lot of random movies while doodling and eating Jell-O. We hit Hobby Lobby earlier so Simon could get a Prismacolor sharpener and a few other random art supply things. Currently, we’re watching the first season of South Park so he can get more references that Ian and I make. I especially wanted him to watch the “Pink Eye” episode. I think tonight we’re going to set off the fireworks he brought up. I’ll have to call the Mikes so they can come over and watch.

On the slate for the rest of the week is more random movie-watching, more hot dogs, and probably some more doodling. At some point–probably Friday–I’m going to be running around trying to get shit together for finalizing Jerry. I might work on him some more tomorrow, just reading and re-reading him a few more times to clear stuff up and fix any typos I find. I just want it done, and as of Friday, we’ll have the money to take care of it. Maybe we’ll drag Simon out to eat as well. I think he’s having fun pestering the cat and sleeping until nearly noon. 🙂

Maybe next week I’ll get to all that cleaning that needs to be done as well as the cross stitching project I’m working on. I know Ian’s hoping I’ll get lots of cleaning done. I feel sorry for him since he has to live with me. Poor guy. Oh well. I’ll just finish up with some random stuff. Here’s a weird webcomic-like website: Leisure Town. GJ the guppy died. I bought a new guppy Saturday and put it in the tank with GJ, but the new guppy started beating up on GJ and being mean, and poor old GJ couldn’t handle it. I had to put together another tank really quick, and it was probably too fast. GJ didn’t make it either because of his injuries or the quality of the other tank. It makes me sad. So now we just have PJ, the orange guppy. I let Simon name it. He’s cute, just kind of mean. And completely random: I wonder how long tomatoe plants take to produce fruit. Weird fuzzy things.
