Braindead weekend

Well, I managed to use as few brain cells this weekend as possible. When I wasn’t sleeping, I was either playing Lego Star Wars, cross stitching, watching movies, or surfing. Pretty boring weekend for the most part. I did finish off all of the first episode of Lego Star Wars, which is cool. I dragged Buster in to work today, and I figure I’ll work on Jerry for a while. Heather’s not in, so all phone calls and students will be directed to me, but there shouldn’t really be that many. Most have fled to their various corners of the world, so we won’t see many until June with freshman orientation. Nope, it ought to be pretty quiet today, provided that the grad assistants next door don’t play crappy music just loud enough to be annoying but not loud enough to distinguish words. It’s kind of like living in the dorms again: tiny room, loud neighbors, feeling small and insignificant… Yup, closet sweet closet. Oh well, time to break out Buster and put on some headphones before the neighbors’ music starts. NIN seems to drown them out fairly well. Maybe I’ll use some brain cells today!

Addendum: Nope, I’m just braindead. I went through all the papers I grabbed to edit Jerry with, and they’re soooooo not useful. They’re all my old notes from before the defense, which means I’ve already incorporated those editings. The new ones are still at home then. Oh well, I’ll work on comics or my novel or a cross stitch or something. Damn my braindeadedness. Also damn my morning gas. Gas in a room the size of a closet isn’t good for anyone. I’m glad Heather’s not here; I have no idea how she puts up with me! Oh well, back to uselessness.

I keep forgetting to tell you this.. I asked Adam if he knew Ian and gave him a brief physical description (I think I said he was about my height with glasses and a beard or something) and Adam said "Oh yeah.. and he's really sarcastic and cynical? Yeah, that guy's cool." I thought that was funny lol
