Okay, so here are the updates from this morning since I’ve been home. Not a whole lot to add, but a few items of interest, I think. Enjoy the rest of your evening! Here goes:
- My beautiful betta Squeak died. :'( I found him early this afternoon on the bottom of the tank at an awkward angle, and he didn’t respond to anything such as glass tapping or food. I’m sad, but he was at that age since they tend to live only two to three years, and we’d had him for a while. Poor little guy. He will be missed. *Sniff*
- I sent Jerry’s revisions to the committee just about an hour ago. All 113 pages of him except for the Front Matter. I hope to get feedback soon because I’m still under the impression that it’s nine-tenths crap. We’ll see.
- I’m going to spend the rest of the evening watching MacGuyver and cross stitching. I think I could use the time stitching to clear my head of suffixes and insults. Pretty little butterflies…nice and peaceful-like. 🙂
- I’ve been sitting next to Francesca all evening, and my eyes aren’t too bad. So I’m guessing the recent eye problems have been due to allergies, sinuses, and way too much time staring at a computer screen. 😉
- Tomorrow’s a pitch-in French dinner. I think I’m going to make quiche! Maybe I’ll get on the pie dough tonight and then put it all together tomorrow. Think wheat flour would make decent dough?
