Post-it Post

I’ve read the history of the Post-it Note somewhere before, but I don’t feel like finding it and linking it here for the purposes of making an amusing yet educational post. Rather, I’ll ramble and you suffer, k? K. At any rate, I was looking at my desk rather than working on the thesis (Damn you, writer’s block, damn you!), and I realized that half of it is covered with Post-it Notes (Yes, every last one of them under the trademarked name.) and that there are Post-its all over the rest of the area as well. I own a ton of Post-it products like the highlighters which have Post-it Flags in the end as well as Post-it Flag booklets and even Post-it routing slips. I get a ton of use out of Post-it anything. They’re poking up out of half of the books lined up along my desk. They’re in every single article I have for the thesis, and several of my dictionaries have Post-it Flags in them too. You’d think that my librarian instincts would keep me from putting any sort of glue-like substance in my books, but since most of the time they’re not in there very long, it’s no biggie. Other times, I want them there permanently because it’s a page I go to often. They are teh awesome! Here are some pics of my many, many, many Post-it things. And this is just some of them! There’s some at work too and more in my drawers.

Post-it Thesis

And yes, I did spend far too long labeling my thesis articles with a hundred Post-it Flags, but I feel more organized now, and since I can’t seem to get anything typed up, at least this makes me feel like I’m doing something thesis-related.
