Well, I’ve been working on the thesis pretty much every day, all day long here at the office, so I think I’m making some headway. I also e-mailed my committee about my “progress” and told them how I’m doing and that since I’ve got so much tea, I’ll never go uncaffeinated during this writing slam. I’m sure that may have unnerved them a bit, but go figure. They should all know I’m a caffeine junkie by now, I’d guess. But to help me feel like I’m keeping on track, I’ve decided to add a thesis page counter on the site. Nothing fancy, I’ll just post how many pages I’ve got at the bottom of all my new posts. There’ll be two numbers. The first will be how many pages are in the core chapters and the second will be the total including the table of contents, appendix, endnotes, and references. I like watching the numbers go up, so maybe this will induce me to write even more and spend less time needlessly editing at this point. I’m fickle; a number counter is enough to get me moving.
In other random news, I was taking my drug cocktail this morning as usual, adding Tylenol for the headache that was on-coming due to some construction going on bangingly in the building somewhere. It was with the Aleve, Viactiv, and One-A-Day sitting out next to the Tylenol bottle that I realized they had quite pretty colors. I dug through my desk drawer for my Bengay and Benadryl, and the following picture is what you get:

Hello Roy G Biv
English Breakfast:
I tried that tea you gave me. It had a slight barbecue taste to it. It wasn't extremely bad, but I think one cup was enough! I also made my sister drink some too.. heh
Barbecue Tea?:
Extremely odd. Yet strangely compelling.
Dear God:
Get K.C. Masterpiece on the phone, you'll make millions curing itis with your barbecue tea!
