Well, the day finally came where I had to retire my old HP laser-jet printer here at work. It was some old model from back in ’98 and it was (clearly) the oldest printer in the building. Being the oldest printer, there were, of course, no replacement cartridges for it anywhere to be found. <Sniff> It was a good printer, a nice printer. I almost never had any problems with it except for periodically running out of paper or putting things in upside-down, but that was my fault, not its fault. What a good little printer. Now it’s sitting on the floor of the vault never to be used again and I’m stuck with a much larger, somehow clunkier-looking, newer HP laser-jet printer. It just doesn’t fit on the top of the tower as well as the old one. <Sigh> Oh well.
Shit, I just remembered I teach today. Dammit, gotta go make a lesson plan or something. Oh well, time to move on. I need breakfast!
Sucks…:
I hate it when they make finding replacement ink cartridges hard to find (I figure I maybe have another year or two on mine). Happy Tuesday!
