ID or “intelligent design” is funny in so many ways. Its inception as an explanation to the creation of the universe and all the life in it tries to parallel other creationist beliefs counter to a purely scientific route. It has spawned many hilarious parodies such as the almighty Flying Spaghetti Monster, and it has become the butt of jokes of organizations and institutions all over the place, rebutted even by the Roman Catholic church. I, of course, think it’s a bunch of hooey being an Atheist who really doesn’t give a damn where the world came from and is more concerned with what people are doing to it now. However, the entire mess is amusing to me, and what I found equally amusing was this comic I came across during my daily funnies reading:

I think it makes just as much sense to believe in the Giant Outhouse as it does the Flying Spaghetti Monster. After all, I think most people in the world are full of shit. This would go a long way to explain that. 🙂
