I had to brush my teeth over the cat this morning again. If she weren’t so tall or if she would just lie down, it wouldn’t be as much of a problem. I didn’t even mess with washing my face because regardless of how much water I drip on her, she won’t move. Crazy cat. But I did get some nice cuddle time with her after the alarm went off. I think she just wanted under the covers because I’m warm and the house isn’t. The AC has yet to be turned off and it got to forty-something last night. Wheeeeee. Stealing the husband’s blanket because he went to LGT was oh so sweet.
On the way to work down Walnut, I saw that there was a train down by tenth, so I said to myself, screw it. I’m going to Walgreens for a drink and a snack. I turned up 13th and went to Walgreens. Once there, I decided to wander a bit ’cause they have Halloween cute stuff and I like stickers too. I meandered a bit, got oggled by some Mexicans, and then found the toy aisle. Woooooo! Sale on toys! More importantly, sale on Legos! I could get a box for $6 or three boxes for $12! So, after grabbing Mountain Dew, guess how many boxes I wandered out with? Hehehehe. I brought one up to the office so I can play with it later. It has the elusive orange and green bricks! I don’t have many of these. There are even quite a number of yellow! Such treasure! The Legos and caffeine are nice, and I have Buster in here which means I can watch the Frog Prince all day long too. <Maniacal giggling> Since today’s Fall Break for the students, they’ve got the day off and shouldn’t be pestering us much, if at all. Huzzah for no students!
Now I go play with my treasure and drink my soda and pop my pills and I can’t check my e-mail ’cause ISU lost power last night and the MyISU servers are all still down. Blah blah. K, you go away now.
LOL:
But did I miss a mention of your thesis? hehehehehe
