Work has been exhausting; I think I’ve mentioned that an awful lot on here. Lately I’ve been going to bed at ten because I’ve been so tired. Yesterday, I was so exhausted I got dizzy and had to go to bed around eight. Yippee, right? I woke up around two when the husband came to bed, waking me from a dream I was having about Tom Hanks and a bunch of other people in a sumbarine making a bathroom stop at an underwater prison. I couldn’t get back to sleep, having had six hours of sleep by this point, so I went downstairs and started to write.

I worked on a passage for my second novel until five or so before I started getting dizzy again and had to go back to bed. It was while working on the last couple pages of the selection that I got to thinking about how I want to handle the Writing page on this web site. I would like to get the chapters to my novel back up here in addition to my poetry, but I’m not sure how I want to do it. I know that I want it to be where you can easily access individual chapters and poems, but I don’t think I want it set up like the last site’s format. I want comment capability on this page because I like getting feedback on what I write, though I know that there really aren’t many of you out there into literary analysis which means I’m just looking for stuff like “I get it” or “I don’t get it.”

So comment capability is something I’ll discuss with the husband, maybe making the writing page somewhere with “posts” where you can click on it to read the entirety and add comments at the bottom. As it stands right now, I think I’ll just spend some time today typing up this section for the hell of it because I don’t feel like working on Univ 101 (I have the weekend for that hell) or on my thesis (I’m too tired to concentrate and I don’t want to screw up my research), so carpal tunnel it is. I have Bengay, so don’t worry; I’ll be all right. I have peanuts too. Mmm mmm. So hopefully there’ll be some stuff from my novel up here soon. Fingers crossed.
