Blathering

My stomach hurts. I often wonder what causes this in the mornings. Sometimes I think it&#039s what I choose to eat for breakfast. Sometimes it&#039s probably because I really don&#039t eat breakfast. Sometimes I think it&#039s because I have a soda for breakfast. Sometimes I think it&#039s because my body just hates and rejects mornings. I would, of course, remedy all this if only I could figure out what the hell&#039s wrong with my system. Stupid GI tract.

At any rate, while I&#039m eating this apple and drinking this can of Mello Yello, I thought I would update everyone as to what&#039s going on in my sick head this week. I&#039ve been playing a lot of Puzzle Pirates in lieu of doing something productive such as working on my webcomic, my French comics, or my proposal for my thesis. While at work, I tend to get pulled in many directions thus hampering my ability to focus on any one thing for very long, but anymore I suppose this is really because I&#039m simply not a person who can remain focus for very long. I am very patient, so it&#039s not that I become impatient with things and thus stop them. Rather, I&#039m merely scatter-brained and foolish and therefore get little done at one go. I did put together my new Lego set (Dumbledore&#039s tower) last night for an hour or more, but Lego sets are easy to stay focused on. Research proposals and phone calling lists aren&#039t.

On way or another, I have to at least get something done with the French comics because Tony&#039s slated to show up sometime today so we can talk about them. I brought Buster in to work on this, so after posting and checking my e-mail, I&#039ll probably switch over to him and start Photoshopping like mad. I&#039ll probably put in some Billy Joel to help keep me focused. Here&#039s to hoping I see some of this to fruition before the day&#039s over. But for right now, my snail just woke up and I want to watch him meander for a minute because he&#039s very calming. And I still have to finish this apple before it turns shit brown.

    Dog Days:

You're stuck in the summer doldrums. I am too. I know this place needs cleaned but since it's going to be about a week and a half until you come up, I think it's going to wait.

Oh, word to the wise, if you want to make a few extra bucks, take your cans to a scrap metal dealer. Aluminum is .75 a pound these days and since I know how much soda you drink it might be worth it.
