I'm going to be in a meeting pretty much all day, so no Puzzle Pirates for me today. (I did join the same crew as my sister yesterday, so it'll be fun eventually adventuring with her from now on.) This meeting is about all the different aspects of Univ 101 like Gen Ed, the reader, etc., all things I should have been told about two and a half years ago when I first had this course dropped in my lap two weeks into the semester. I've never had any information about this class other than the books I'm supposed to use and that I'm supposed to turn in my grades, attendance, etc. to Jamie Smock. I've just been doing my own thing, and oddly enough, with or without this training, I'll probably continue to do just that. This might give me some interesting ideas for the class though. We're meeting in ten minutes for coffee and cookies. Who the hell ever decided to put those things together, and for brunch? It would make more sense to have doughnuts or bagels or fruit or something, but cookies for breakfast? That's just dumb. Pfft. I really don't want to sit in on meetings all morning and most of the afternoon. I have yet another list of @#$%^&* phone numbers to call this afternoon and all week, so the fun just keeps crapping around here. Yeah, that didn't make sense either, but it's early, I slept like shit (kept dreaming about airports and horses), and I haven't had caffeine. Today's just going to keep getting busier since Ian and I are running by the rental place and I have a bunch of laundry to do. Blech. I'm gonna stop typing now and go stare out the window a bit. I won't get to see the sky again until much later.
Uh…:
I had cookies for breakfast. 😉 I'm not Puzzle Pirate'ing today either, maybe tomorrow. Hope the meeting goes well!
cookies:
You know you've become and adult when you have cookies for dinner and no one yells at you 🙂
…:
We should have got cookies yesterday…now I want cookies. I missed the last half of the post because I was thinking about cookies and how I don't have any RIGHT NOW… Oh well, um, your Legos got here. At least I am assuming they are you Legos, either than so something got here for you and it is broken.
What Ocean?:
What ocean are you two in? I can create a new char in that ocean to play together. I am currently in the ocean Cobalt. You two in Viridian or Midnight?
Arrr, mateys:
Yeah, one of my students who was a big EQ fan was kind of embarrassed about it, but he said that Puzzle Pirates was one of the most fun games he'd ever played, and that he'd become totally hooked.
Midnight:
Katie and I are in the Midnight Ocean and I have my up moments and down moments with the game so far. I think that it's fun playing mini games 'cause I like them and it's fun to be able to get stuff for it that shows rather than trophies or badges. Cute game.
I want to buy a boat!:
Course guess I need to quit buying new clothes and save for a boat.
