Crochet and WoW

Well, seeing as how it’s six in the morning and I’ve yet to go to bed, I keep thinking of what I did last night as the things I’ve done today despite it being yesterday. Regardless, I really didn’t do much yesterday after work except experiment with various crochet patterns–I’m working on gingerbread people–and watching various documentaries on Netflix while doing so. After several films (like four, seriously), I decided to put the crocheting up and hopped on World of Warcraft to run around with Ian’s character doing silly things to gain achievement points. It’s a new thing they’ve added with the latest expansion. Basically, you do random stuff like explore all the nooks and crannies in a zone or eat a lot of different types of foods or kill a certain number of enemy players, and you get points. I hadn’t planned on doing much with it, but Ian was enjoying himself running through low level zones and doing things he hadn’t done either before or in a long time. Knowing that today is a patch day (Tuesdays always are), I opted to stay up and play until the server went down because I knew I wouldn’t be able to play again until sometime this afternoon. I’ll just sleep through the morning, get up and crochet some more, and when the servers are back up, explore some more. I have today off, and other than laundry (oops, I left the towels in the wash), I have no other obligations. But for now, I feel obligated to go to bed since it is six in the morning. Maybe you’ll all have a more productive day than I will. 😉
